Well, since Laz is Duane’s brother-in-law (I know, right?), I figure Melanie would want her brother saved and insist Duane (her husband) pony up the dough. Or, Duane goes Rambo on the captor with his arsenal of geeky Star Trek weapons or sicks Kat on them. xDD
