I need to stop watching Yu-gi-oh Abridged xD




Apperantly they're past episode 40 now. -been obsessively watching it for the past three days-

And, for the record, I never watched Yu-gi-oh. It's THAT funny.

It was fun. Very fun. 8D

Keaton and I left at about oh, I'd say, somewhere between 7-9 a.m. I can't remember, exactly. I had stayed up most of the night with insomnia and the uncontrollable urge to play Animal Crossing, so.

We got on the road (BY OURSELVES BOOYAH ROADTRIP) and made our way into the wilderness of PA armed with mapquest directions and a dinky map scrawled into the front of my sketchbook. Lots of backroads, I tell ya. Many different colors of road. White, black, RED. we saw RED pavement. It was weird. We got to navigate routes and interstates and all that good stuff. We never got lost, just paranoid, though at one point we were taking the wrong exit and I noticed and was like "North 30?" SQQQRRREEEE (sound of wheels squealing to make our exit) jk. Fortunately there was this weird median that had a road that went directly across to the exit we needed (Thank God.)

So, we finally made it to the place, though we went to the wrong location the first time because the OTHER location was next to this abandoned building and you had to cross over this weird looking parking lot and TRAINTRACKS. I was like do not want the rape plz. But, we turned around and went there, and WERE there about 30 minutes early. IT WAS COLD. To be expected, up in PA at 10 in the morning. Once you got past the traintracks (and I mean literally) the place was beautiful with an ampitheatre looking thing going on with the levels of grass overlooking a creek. PRETTTY.

When people started to arrive, I was looking for the tell-tale sign of a person going to a park for a devmeet- sidebag. Pretty much every devmeet member had a sidebag, so I was on the hunt. Another popular motif was coming in pairs, understandable if you're going to meet a bunch of people you don't know. xD

So, we all made small talk as everyone showed up, then Katmomma was telling PearlEden how to get here and they went RIGHT past the drive and everyone was screaming and Katmomma zoomed off in her little sedan after the giant looming cube that was PearlEden's transportation xD Eventually she rounded them up and brought them back, and then Pearl sat ontop of the roof for a good 15 minutes and refused to come down. xD;

After the initial name tagging and such, we all sat down in the grass and started working on a collaborative piece. I drew DD in, of course, and without provocation, a bunch of people drew in their OCs torturing him. Really, I think he just asks for thumbtacks being dumped on his head and his hair catching on fire and being nommed on the back. xDD;

Pearl was nice enough to give us all free prints, and surprisingly no one divebombed them. (Think of the prints as like the treasure in the Temple of Doom in Indiana Jones, you want it SOOOO BAD, but you don't want to grab it for fear of a giant boulder crushing you. jk.) Everyone started doing trades and talking and having fun, so I felt the need to start a chicken fight. Keaton jumped onto my back and we went against "Mr.Nobody" (has was wearing a KH shirt) AND WE WON. We knocked him off balance even though we were clearly the disadvantaged ones. It must have been because of that practice at Otakon xD

After a few hours, we got some pictures and moved down by the creek, where we were annoyed by a small boy with a bottle full of minnows which he proceeded to shake to death on purpose and punched a minnow in the head and it died. D8

AND THEN THERE WAS FRED. Yes, Fred the daddy-long-leg. I loved him so, but didn't seem to share my love for him, so I went to go freak out everyone else with him. xD

When everyone got tired of drawing, Katmomma led us to Rita's. Correction, she led me and Keaton and one other person, everyone else got lost xD

So Kizamaji and myself and Keaton and the Naruto pony girl (her screenname escapes me at the moment) all had delicious Rita's. Naruto pony girl left and Katmomma had come back from home and then was like OMG GUYS I GOTTA GO SHOPPPINNGGGGG LOLOLOL

and we were all LET'S GO SHOPPINGGGG LOLOLOLOLZ

So we went to Giant and got some delicious food and pointed out all the furries that were plain out in the open. Cereal mascot mouse thing, Chester the Cheetah, A DANCING PEPPER, and various other little things. >> And then we bought sushi that was gross and smoked so I let Keaton have it and then I WENT ON A QUEST FOR POTATO SKINS. And found them.

And we got confused trying to get home but we were SO HARDCORE.

And all in all the day was grand. xD

invited me to come with her to Potstown, PA, where we're gonna spend the day with and others, which, by the way, has me near peeing-pants excited levels. xD I never bothered talking to any popular people given the fact that I know with my own experience that a good majority of people that talk to me out of the blue want me to draw them something. xDD

But this is going to be a really nice experience for me and Keaton, and I hope to make a bunch more dev friends 8D

Jk. It's too short notice for you guys to come all the way down there D8 Even though it's about the same distance from my place to there as it is from your place to there. >> HINT.HINT.
